A new NHS 111 online service is set to provide a digital option for patients accessing urgent care in the North East and North Cumbria.
The new 111Online service went live across the North East in July 2018, allowing patients to access the 111Online website and self-assess.
111 Online is accessible on computers, smartphones or tablets.
Patients are able to receive self-care advice, be signposted to pharmacy and optician services, be referred to GP services and receive telephone call-backs from clinicians when appropriate.
